My Review for the Long Long Afternoon is below::

The Long, Long Afternoon is a gripping drama set in 1950’s California that is packed with mystery and describes in detail the racial divide in LA at that time…….

The book is written from multiple perspective’s which really helps to build on the crime solving the disappearance of Joyce Hayney. I felt that this worked so well as you gathered more evidence, but also made me question the reliability of the narrator! I had suspicions of the perpetrator from early on and in the most part was correct, but there are definitely more surprises along the way……..

This is a well written story and such a great debut novel from Inga Vesper. I don’t usually read books set in the past, but the synopsis of this reached out to me and I am so glad that I did………

This book was definitely a good solid four star read…….
