I cannot remember when was the last time I got so immersed in a book.
The Long, Long Afternoon is a great read, that it will absorb you at take you to the 60's in America, where women in society have a very different role as to the one they play now.
I loved everything about this book. And I am not exaggerating.
I loved the writing style very much, until the point that I found myself reading quite slow so the book wouldn't end very quickly. I loved the plot, the mystery, the different points of view, the events that took place, the characters and their role in the story, the twists and turns, the ending... I am so happy I got to read this book, so please do so yourself!
Inga Vesper is a German writer that actually lives in London. This is her debut novel but I can assure you that I will check out every book she writes from now on!
