I started by judging a book by it's cover. I thought this is not going to be for me. It looks too tame.
How wrong can a person be!

This book doesn't shy around racial inequality. It made me think about the prejudices we hold.Highlighting the gap between the financially privleged and the poor.

Whilst the focus isn't on equality it certainly stays in the forefront of your mind throughout. Thanks to Ruby and Joseph.
Look behind the curtains of the stepford wives and all is not as it seems. Fall in love with Ruby. The most brilliant character you can wish to come across. Whilst developing a complexed set of emotions towards Joyce.
There were unexpected twists and turns.
You will feel a whole whirlwind of emotions.
I hope there is a second book. Team Ruby all the way.

This book came in to my life at the perfect time. It has made me realise that i have to keep being vocal about equal rights and injustice.
At a time when i thought-What's the point i am just one person.

I finished the last page and thought- I know what Ruby would do.
