With an interesting array of characters from feisty Ruby who is working hard in the face of adversity to ‘be somebody’, and the over medicated ladies of Sunnylakes’ Women’s Improvement Committee, who have lessons on how to be more efficient in their kitchens, to the warm and tolerant Detective who takes Ruby under his wing
This really was a good story with great tension and suspense right from the start. I loved the author’s stylish writing style and just wish I could start reading all over again
