After reading the sample, I was so disappointed to get to the end of it! This is definitely the type of book to pull you in and not let go until you get to that last page.
Written in a pacey style, hooking you into the plot from the first page, this book will certainly have a lot in store!
The author does a great job of putting across the main protagonists (Joyce) discontentment with her seemingly perfect life in a groomed and manicured suburb. Surely everyone who lives there in their perfect family bubbles is the picture of happiness? Apparently not.
The first sentence tells us, "Yesterday I kissed my husband for the last time. Of course, he does not know this. Not yet..."
When Joyce's maid comes to work as normal, she soon finds that she has landed herself in a sticky situation when she sees what awaits her on the kitchen floor... I loved this! I would definitely read this whole book.
