The Long, Long Afternoon
The first thing I initially liked about The Long, Long Afternoon was the cover, I really loved how colourful the design was compared to most of the books I would usually read.
After reading the first look I really wanted too read more and I was really interested in what happened to the main character and I was desperate to find more out about her and her backstory. Luckily I ended up winning a copy of the book, which I was excited about.
I really enjoyed this book and once I started reading I was unable to stop and I ended up finishing it in a day. The storyline was really interesting and gripping throughout the book, I didn't feel like the story was slow going at any point. I also really like the fact that I was unable too work out what was going to happen like I sometimes do with books.
I highly recommend this book and I will definitely be picking up other work by Inga Vesper.
