From the cover alone, I felt like this could be something promising and enjoyable. As I started reading, the writing really helped build a wonderful atmosphere, which kept me reading.
However, I started to struggle with connecting with what I was reading. I was finding myself taking regular breaks and coming back, sometimes skipping over sentences.
That being said, it looks like it does have the potential to grow on me... I am intrigued!
