I was drawn to this book by the stunning tones on the cover. Upon reading the sample, I could immediately tell that there was a theme of love and hope, especially in the cell. The descriptive writing was immersive and I felt transported to the Island of St Kilda. I immediately felt a connection to Rachel Anne who was seeking information on her absent father and the island in which she originated. When I got to the chapter about the missing little girl, Christina, I couldn't read fast enough!! The easy, yet captivating writing style makes this seem like the kind of book I would want to curl up with and devour in one sitting.
