Even though the blurb makes for a great story this isn't the sort of book I would usually choose to read.
I think you really need to be "in the zone" to read it, as judging from the first look it shifts between characters/dates/settings quite often. Really lovely descriptive writing and scene setting. Would be a great read if it's your thing.
