I just don't know whether I want to read more of this book or not. At first glance the cover appears quite bland, but on closer inspection is actually quite pretty. I like how the story is being told from more than one person's viewpoint, including (one presumes), the child of the central couple. The story doesn't really grab you straight away, but it just feels as though if you invest time in the characters it might be a worthwhile read.
