Amazing love story amid sweeping scenery!
I loved this book so much! This books has a love triangle and a half! I was rooting for Chrissie and Fred all the way through the book. I thought the descriptions of the scenery, particularly of St Kilda were they thought provoking. I loved how the author utilized all of the readers five senses to portray life on the island.
The reason why I gave it four stars and not five was because of the dual narrative. I don't do well with dual narrative at the best of times, but whens there's two narrative within one narrative I did get confused at times. For example when its Rachel's narrative but Chrissie is telling her the story within her narrative, sometimes it got a bit too jumpy for me. But overall I thought it was really good!
