Really nice book for times like this. Nostalgic, slow, involving. It shows you different kind of life, different social relations within small communities. Its perfect for now when world forgets about what life is really about. It would give a perspective about human interaction, sadness, drama and love and happiness.
Many days I would love to go back to small communities like this with simple values simple answers and decisions.
It makes you feel, its interesting and difficult to stop after you start reading it.
Definitely my kind of book and will be looking into another work from this author. It even made me to look for more information about island itself - its history, people and disappearing way of life.
