It was ok
The Lost Lights Of St Kilda was a good book, unfortunately it wasn't my thing, really. I was hoping for a more deeper romance in the story but unfortunately this wasn't the case.
I, personally, felt what romance was in this book was a little shallow and hard to believe.
The characters, however, were very likable, well written and realistic.
It took me a few attempts to actually pick up and read the book because I lost interest fairly early on and very quickly. But I forced myself to carry on reading for the sake of writing this honest review.
One this I did love was the adventure. I felt like I was right there in those scenes. So descriptive with landscapes and the villages it sometimes felt like non fiction.
I don't think I'd have brought this book if I saw it on the shelves due to the fact its simply not my cup of tea.
