The title itself gives away that this book is going to be a chick-lit with a hint of mystery and comedy. Main character Sarah, seventeen years married but now divorced spends days with Eddie, and they are in perfect bliss. Then when they return back to their everyday lives, she doesn't hear from him and it is almost as though he has disappeared off the Earth that she has even considered he's had a tragic accident and has died. Her best friend, Jo, tries to bring her back down to earth and insinuates that Eddie was just not fully interested in her. But she believes differently and has tried calling, messaging, and even downloaded dating apps to see if he has been registered. You can just tell from this snippet that she is a comical character. The book is gripping and definitely leaves the reader wanting more as we do wonder if something has happened to Eddie, or if it was just a 'caught up in the moment' fling. It also makes me wonder more about Sarah and her life. Also her previous marriage and why it came to an end.
