This promises some intriguing hidden depths!

My first thought on reading the synopsis was that this would be a fairly lightweight love story, perhaps a bit predictable. However from reading the opening chapters my initial, rather dismissive reaction, was challenged and I'm now feeling that this is a story with a darker side, with some intriguing hidden depths - and as I've decided to redeem my points to ensure that I'll discover what happens, I hope my expectations will be fulfilled!
