I liked this book but am typically drawn more to thrillers so it didn’t seem as engaging to me personally though there were a few surprises in there that I didn’t expect. I do get that it’s a romance but I think the predictability of them is what puts me off reading romance books in general. I felt this was a very predictable romance book and whilst there a few occasions throughout where I had a couple of “oh” moments, on the whole I just didn’t really feel it...
I struggled to gel with the characters to an extent though I did really want things to work out between them. The book was also quite slow-paced for me, again this could be a victim of my strong preference for thrillers over romance.
Overall, I enjoyed the storyline and the idea and think romance fans would absolutely love this book, as it is predictable with a really lovely happy ending...
