This is not normally the sort of book that I would pick up but I am very happy that I did. Not my usual crime thriller but I enjoyed it tremendously. I will be keeping an eye open for more of this writer's works. I read it in the space of two evenings as I rushed home to find out more about the story. The plot is believable and the pacing superb.
It appealed to me on so many levels. There was a thread of mystery...Why didn't he call?...and a heartwarming drama within. This is not some sickly sweet Harlequin romance novel. It keeps your brain stimulated so you don't slip into reading just to pass the time. You'll experience an uplifting story, while still shedding a tear or two. I certainly did. Get this novel today!
