This is not the kind of book that I would normally read, but I am so glad that I did. The story is about Sarah and Eddy the man she meets and spends seven blissful days with, before he goes on holiday to Spain. He promises to phone from Spain but that doesn’t happen, and he ceases to have any contact with Sarah. She doesn’t know what has occurred and attempts to find out. Sarah thinks that something has befallen him, but her friends Timothy and Jo are as baffled as she is.
I loved the style of writing and the author reels the reader in slowly and makes you want to keep reading. I got so engrossed by the mystery of the story that I didn’t want it to end. I liked the contemporary cover of the book as well. I would read other books by this author.
