At the start of the book you are introduced to Sarah and Eddie, a man who she has met and spent a fun week with, but they end up having to say goodbye temporarily as Sarah lives in LA and Eddie is going on holiday to Spain. They part with Eddie telling Sarah that he would call her later that day…well he never did…ever. The book follows Sarah as she tries to find out what happened. I enjoyed this book and I found myself curious to know what HAD happened to Eddie, after they got on so well. The encounters in the book are intriguing and I feel that it is written well. There are quite a few characters to keep up with though, so it can get a bit confusing. On the whole I really enjoyed this book and I would be interested in reading more by Rosie Walsh. It reminded me a little bit of ‘The Keeper of Lost Things’ a similar writing style with a story that kept you wanting to know more.
