The story of a man and a woman who spent 7 blissful, perfect days together falling in love and planning a future together, despite having only just met, only for reality to hit when they both go home. The title the man who didn't call gives away the story in a heartbeat.
As is obvious, once back home, the perfect man ghosts our female protagonist.

She spends many a page wondering where she went wrong, if the 7 days were real, did she scare him off? Etc etc.etc.

Reading a middle aged womans ramblings of teenage angst was boring and indeed infuriating. I couldn't garner up any sympathy for this character at all. I just wanted to scream at her to stop being so heartbroken over someone she only knew for seven days.

Then life is good again when he finally contacts her telling her whatever excuse he comes up with as to why he left her hanging.

I unfortunately did not get to the happy reunion as I just could not force myself to carry on reading this god awful story.
