I read this book roughly a year ago. I remember liking it and thinking it would be a very predictable read. However it did surprise me. It had some good twists.
In its favour I remember turning the pages quickly as I was desperate to find out why he didn't call. That being said, as a single person I feel like it wasn't totally believable that she would be as caught up in the drama as she was. She got ghosted, had a lovely 7 days but thats it. I was however never bored and I really appreciated the thriller aspects to the book that turned this from a slow romance to a quick read. I think this book would have been more enjoyable if there was more of a focus on getting to know the characters better.
