I expected this to be a fluffy ‘holiday-read’ type book and for the first part of the book, that is what it was.
Just over halfway through I was convinced that I had figured out the twist, but I so hadn’t!
Even after the big reveal there were further twists to come and the last part of the book was incredibly suspenseful.
I liked all of the characters in this story, and I also liked the way that it dealt with mental illness.
I did feel that maybe the storyline with Eddie’s Mum was tied up a bit too neatly at the end, but that’s only a minor point and didn’t detract from my enjoyment of this book.
I read it cover to cover in a couple of hours - I really couldn’t put it down! Highly recommended....
