‘Seven perfect days, then he disappeared’...
The above line on the front cover is what drew to me to this book.
Without it, I may have just walked pasted it and I would have missed out on a good read. The front cover is basic and it doesn’t give anything away but, don’t judge a book by its cover.
I found it slightly more difficult than I expected to get into. I found that i was around 30% into the book before it really picked up and got my attention and I felt like I couldn’t put it down.
I thought that I had sussed the plot and the twists, but it was really wrong. I enjoy a surprise twist!
The second half of the book is much better than the first half.
Both characters Sarah and Eddie are likeable. I also really liked Sarah’s friend Jo.
