I was hooked from the get-go. I loved the characters and couldn't wait to find out why he 'disappeared'. I read the whole thing in one day and was completely satisfied with the ending. I really did get invested in all the characters, not sure there was a character I wasn't rooting for.
I really enjoyed the writing style, it was so easy to read (explains why I read it in a day) and it really kept me hooked. Descriptions of the people and places were very detailed and I could picture every scene clearly.

I could imagine Gerrard Butler playing Eddie in a film and was picturing him the whole time.
