I very much enjoyed it.

3.5 stars but I feel like rounding it up 4 is fair.

This book just wasn't my style as I always hated prolonged descriptions of nature and this book is full of it. So yes, I skimmed through couple paragraphs.

The big negative for me is that part 1 of the book (it is divided in 3 parts) is too long and a little boring. I get that setting up a mystery takes a second, but it could've taken less, and watching Sarah humiliate herself and acting like a sad 16-year-old girl because a guy didn't call could've been acceptable for a chapter or two. Not twenty-eight. The book also kind of skipped the big portion of the "falling in love" part of the relationship, starting off with instalove and then giving the reader only a couple of chapters of insight into Sarah's and Eddie's relationship.

However, this book is one of the best examples of "it gets better halfway through" that I've ever seen because part 2 and 3 made me cry and laugh out loud. I spend 5 days reading the first half. I read the other in under 2 hours.

The only advice I have is: if you make it halfway through give it a little more because it's worth it. However, I can also understand why people would give up on this book after a couple of chapters.
