I really enjoyed reading the first few chapters of this book. I have definitely been intrigued by it, enough to want to buy (or receive) the full book!!
The basic premise is that Sarah and Eddie spend a romantic week together, feeling as though they are supposed to be together in a way they have never felt for anyone before, but are forced to part for Eddie's holiday. However, Eddie never calls. Could this be because he's hurt or dead, as Sarah fears, or has he simply ghosted Sarah, as Jo suspects? The unknowns make this book captivating from the outset, and I am looking forward to continuing the journey and seeing how things turn out.
So far, there is mystery in the lives of the characters, and this has also caught my attention. Sarah seems to be keeping secrets about her sister, her (ex)husband and a tragedy that happened many years ago. Eddie too, appears secretive, having appeared out of the blue and disappearing without a trace.
