I was really keen to get going and read this book. It was chosen as our book club book. I was keen to read to the end and was gripped by the story. I liked the main character and found the story easy to follow. I haven’t rated it higher than 3 as I did find it quite slow but I enjoyed the story unfolding. It had mixed reviews amongst our group but overall it was enjoyed by us all. I think parts of this love story were relatable and there were lots of good reasons to keep reading to the end. It was written with lots of description and detail and we really got to know the characters, which I really enjoyed. I will look at any other work by the author and would happily read any other books....
