Gave 4 stars as this was probably just personal preference.
I read the first impression of this and was intrigued; the story seemed interesting and I wanted to give it a go.
I guess it just didn't click with me.
As I say, it was probably just because it was a bit far from my typical read (characters far enough from my age I struggled to relate facing issues I struggle to relate to) and just simply not being a genre I would normally pick. It's a shame, but I will be lending it to someone who may enjoy it more.
