I think this novel would look really underwhelming in book shops as the cover is quite nondescript. However it should sell really well as word gets around as how good the book is.
It is well written and the characters very engaging. Sarah meets Eddie while making her annual pilgrimage to where she used to play with her sister. Eddie was trying to return a sheep to its field and Sarah helps him. A drink turns into dinner which somehow ends up with them getting very close. Unfortunately Eddie was off on holiday promising to be in touch from the airport. But he didn’t! Sarah is heartbroken but can’t stop believing in Eddie!
I enjoyed the twists and turns in the plot and can unreservedly recommend this book even to readers of other genres.
