I enjoyed this book a lot more than I was initially expecting to after reading the opening section.
It took me a while to get into it but soon became invested in Sarah’s story. Some of the twists weren’t predictable and I enjoyed being swept up in the story. It was a light and easy read with, on the whole, likeable characters.
I liked the way the book jumped backwards and forwards in time, but felt the chapters covering the initial seven days of Sarah and Eddie’s relationship could have been fleshed out more. I didn’t find the ‘falling completely in love in a week’ concept convincing, due to the lack of plot development in this area.
Overall, this is a great read for on holiday this summer.
