I am still a little bit undecided about this book, not that I didn't enjoy it but I really thought I was going to totally love it, but alas, even though I was left pondering the story for a while after the last page was reached, I am afraid it wasn't all that I hoped. A good first chunk of the book is really just what it says on the back cover, Sarah meets Eddie they spend an idyllic week together and fall totally and madly in love. Eddie then leaves for a prearranged holiday and promises to call, but Sarah hears nothing. Totally convinced that her feelings of love and devotion to the other are mutual she believes something has happened to him and spends lots of time trying to find Eddie. After this rather long winded part of the book, the story does begin to pick up and the reader is then drawn into the mystery of what is really going on. I liked the ending to the book and this in some way redeemed the rather slow start.
