This book has been on my to read list for a while, before the title was changed from 'Ghosted' to 'The Man Who Didn't Call'. I thought that this book would be a typical women's fiction novel, where the protagonist is 25-30 so it was a surprise when I found that this is, largely, from a perspective of a middle aged woman, which personally I found a little harder to relate to, but, the mix of different media styles was refreshing touch. The writing style is very beautiful and I didn't expect the emotional roller coaster that Walsh takes you on. There are twists, touches on some tough subjects and is definitely not just a typical romance novel.
Although all opinions in this review are my own, I would love to thank Pan Books and Readers First for an advanced publication copy.
