I almost dismissed this book just from the title. If I hadn’t have read a review for it I almost definitely wouldn’t have bought it based solely on that on pre-conception.
The book centres around Sarah and Eddie, who invariably doesn’t call after he returns from holiday. I originally thought it was just going to be an average book about ghosting or stereotypical lad behaviour. There is so much more to this book than that so lesson learned.... don’t judge a book by its cover - or title in this case.
Overall I’d say it’s a well written novel with unexpected twists and turns throughout to keep you gripped and guessing and although it was a good read I was somewhat left wanting more.
