This was written in such a way that you have no idea who the victim is until near to the end.
Sarah meets a guy called Eddie.

After saying goodbye, and promises of keeping in touch whilst he is away, Sarah skips away, knowing in her heart that she has finally met the man she is going to one day marry.......and that was the last time she saw him.
