I found this book a bit slow paced at first, but about halfway through it did seem quicker, and the story was more interesting at this point too. I thought it was quite well written and the twist was very well executed too. Definitely did not see that coming! The story after the twist was revealed was good and kept me immersed.
I liked the characters of Sarah and Eddie and found myself rooting for them. There is a lot of sadness along the way and some really tense moments, which make the book hard to put down, especially towards the end.
Overall I enjoyed the book, but more the second half than the first. I think Sarah pining for Eddie was drawn out just a bit too much. I actually found Eddie's parts of the book later on more interesting to read.
