Based on the cute cover and blurb, I was hoping for something similar to a few MG reads I’ve loved recently, Amari and Fireborn - and so far whilst this one feels a little less mature, I’m still pretty hooked and curious to see what happens! Some of the magic is a little confusing in the early chapters so I’d love to read more and find out what’s going on.
