I really enjoyed this first look, the start of this book was fast paced but still managed to give us snippets of information about the world. I enjoyed the use of some mixed media with the newspaper article which was very helpful in establishing the world. I'm 100% hooked and want to read more, to find out more about the school and this very interesting world. I am especially intrigued by the person in prison and what this will mean! I like the cover I think it's very magical and a little bit dark which feels like a good representation of what the book will be like.
