I love this! This is everything I want in a book. I love children's fantasy and read a lot of it. I love the mystery element of the missing teacher and I think she may well find herself playing detective as well as hero. Dare I say it reminds me a little of Harry Potter. But I mean that in the best way possible. I'm utterly gripped and I can't wait to see how she takes Ace down! I also really like the cover. The colours are just it, the title being the light in the darkness. It also depicts each characters power. And it tells us our characters are tough and they're ready to take action.
