This is an action packed books which is great for a more developed reader or to be read aloud with an adult. The characters and relatable for young readers and help children not only visualise them but also want to be them! The female lead gives a sense of girl power while the mix of chatarters and concepts allows all readers to engage. I loved the usecof magic alongside real word giving a great mix of fantasy with realism mixed in. The vocabulary is more advanced and ideas and concepts are for a more advanced reader or to be read together to ensure understanding. A great way to encourage them to further reading and encourage them to broaden and develop their language as well as their imagination!
