This book is ideal for fans of magic and science fiction. This book evoked the perfect Harry Potter vibe without being overly similar, and the characters were perfectly portrayed and utilized in the plot. Despite their differences, each character worked together despite their individuality. The story centres on Ella, a young girl who is trying to make her way in a strange world. It will appeal to a lot of young readers, opening up a whole new world of magic to a new generation of readers.
Even though I am not the intended audience, I enjoyed this book because it is primarily about acceptance and is set in a magical world. I also love the cover art. Although I enjoyed the book, I think it got much better in the second half. There are still a lot of questions at the end, but I hope they will be answered in future books. I think the characters are great. Naturally, there will be comparisons to Harry Potter because it is based on magic skill, but I think this would be unfair because it is a different kind of world and characters.
