Honestly I did not read it however it did seem interesting. I gave it to someone younger who seemed to be more the right target audience rather than me and they told me they enjoyed it. They enjoyed the world building and the powers, and the element of fantasy inside the book.
"The Marvellers" appears to be a great piece of fiction perfect for middle grade reading, like from year 7 to year 9, and the children enjoy it.
It is like a new Harry Potter book mixed with Ace of Spades, with elements of crime and magic tied together to make a page-turner. If I were around thirteen years old again, I would honestly eat this book up, no questions asked!
Now a lot of books that I wanted to read years ago do not interest me in the same way because I am past the target audience age honestly.
The cover looks really cool and is genuinely amazing: the illustration of the characters are wonderful!
