I loved the characters and the whole plot. I especially loved how descriptive the deaths were, especially the impalement and the guy that rips off his own skin after being poisoned. Although I loved that, my favourite bit was how the author changed the times, from world war 2 - project Mayfly and the scenes with Charlie Priest. He made Charlie Priest a serious guy, single and had multiple mental health issues. However, Charlie and his brother both pay attention to their surroundings and whenever they see each other they play a game about noticing things. For instance William (Charlie's brother) noticed that Charlie was worried about something due to the fact Charlie had visited him 3 days early and was wearing an old jacket and his pen was not in the coat.
A definite must read!!!!
