This story captured my attention straight away. It has a lot of layers to the story that you make you ask a lot of questions, it's face paced and a very easy read which makes it a gripping page-turner. The Author develops the characters quickly and build suspense. What I love about the First Read so far is that it's very atmospheric, it builds a great picture in your mind very quickly and you can feel the tension in the room as if you were there.
I have so many questions I need answering, What happened when she was little? Will, she and her sister reform their broken bond? What is behind the locked door? Who're the neighbours? Where's her dad? What dark truths are lurking at Manse?
Easy, gripping and enjoyable read. I cannot wait to finish this book and get the answers to my questions!!!
