I love the cover of this book for a start, and I think books set against the Scottish Highlands are instantly atmospheric.
It's hard to tell how this will pan out because the description is ambiguous. The missing years, is that relating to a person, the home owner, the person who inherits the other half of the house, or the years the house has been unoccupied?
I think this book may raise many questions and keep me guessing right until the end which is exactly my sort of book.
