I was immediately attracted to this book because I like the front cover and the synopsis. I have enjoyed books based in Scotland previously and was keen to give this a try. So far it's been very slow going though, I hope that further into the book more happens and it's a bit quicker pace finding out what! The main character is not very likeable or relatable at the moment. Not the best start and I'm left feeling a bit flat.
