Having read The French Girl I was really expecting something along similar lines and I was not really sure if I wanted to read another book of that ilk. However, this book starts very cleverly and is more about family than friendships but there is still that undercurrent of tension. Actually, the scene setting is such that it feels very tense from the outset.
Definitely one that I am looking forward to picking up.
