I've not read any books by Lexie Elliott before, my first impressions I was undecided on this book, as reading the first few pages I couldn't work out if this book was one I would enjoy reading, it is a genre of book I like. The cover is okay, possibly giving the feeling the book would be more intriguing than I'm finding it.
It is an easy read, but having said that, for me personally I don't feel it's a book I don't want to put down, it's not gripping enough for me.
I'm struggling to know what to write for this book, as for me personally, I'm not enjoying it and am persevering as I'm hoping it will improve. This book could be much shorter, it's too stretched out, sadly it was not a book I enjoyed as too slow, didn't improve enough for me. Based on this book, I doubt I'd try another book by this author, as I like a book I can't put down, sadly this is not the case for me on this book.
