After reading the blurb for this I couldn’t wait to get started on reading it, sounded just the kind of book that I enjoy.
Ailsa has been left the Manse in her mother’s will,it is in a very quiet part of Scotland but Ailsa soon finds out she only owns half of it, her father owns the other half, no big problem you would imagine until you find out her father has been missing for decades along with the diamonds he was meant to be transporting for a jewellery shop.
Ailsa and her half sister Carrie decided to live in the house until the legality of it can be sorted out but Ailsa felt uncomfortable in there, the story progresses to say about odd things that happens there and of Fiona who says about time folding, couldn’t really understand what that means.
I found the book rather slow and had trouble getting into it as after a chapter or two I would put it down then try again later on.
Almost at the end it picks up and starts moving, if the whole book was more like that I would have really enjoyed it, as it is though I didn’t.
