The Manse is watching me.... A creepy but intriguing start. The writing style is beautiful though I had to look up some of the words as they were new to me. Ailsa is the main character her father disappeared 27 years ago. When she goes back to her childhood home she realises that the Manse hides many secrets. She soon meets the neighbours that may have the answers but they are all interesting characters who have their own secrets and agendas, she doesn't know who she can trust. The more she learns from neighbours the more questions are opened up. In the end I still had lots of unanswered questions maybe that was the authors intentions. For a thriller it wasn't as creepy as I would of liked.
