An interesting read, a good thriller.
The book isn't your usual fast paced read where your frantically turning the pages trying to see what happens next. It does however, make you want to read more and gets your mind racing to see what it is all about.
The story starts off by Ailsa inheriting half of the house due to her mother passing away. Her father still owns the other half of the house but he mysteriously vanished 27 years ago without a trace. No one know where he went or what happened to make him leave.
Ailsa tries to find out the mystery surrounding the house. What makes it so isolate and spooky? Why do animals avoid it at all costs? She believes the house is the key to her fathers disappearance and makes it her mission to find out.
A good read, would recommend it.
